Housing, Navigator and Outreach
People cannot achieve their goals without having somewhere to live. Since 1996 Seaview has been providing a dedicated housing, navigation and outreach team to help those who have no homes to navigate the pathway to achieve a home, and to provide support to keep that home. We are helping those who have a history of failed tenancies; struggle to cope through a lack of living skills and battle daily with addictive behaviour. We are not successful with everyone, but through a positive approach and practical support, the majority of clients are given the chance to succeed.
Our team will help anyone who is homeless or in danger of becoming homeless. Preventing homelessness is a high priority; this may be dealing with rent arrears, anti-social behaviour or other possible breaches of tenancy. Help is also given to those who need a home to find one.
Street Outreach Service
We organise an outreach and out of hours service to rough sleepers to help ensure that no one needs to sleep on the streets of Hastings at night.
