We are opening a brand-new house for rough sleepers in Hastings and St Leonards, offering an opportunity to leave the street and move into settled accommodation to a place that can be called a home. Work is underway and we need your help!

Thanks to donations from Crash and Housing Justice, and reduced rates from High and Mighty and Kilnbridge, the building work has started and is taking shape. What Seaview needs now is community and business support to help turn the house into a warm, welcoming home. A place of hope, dignity and new beginnings for those who have little choice than to sleep on our streets.

For someone who has spent months or years sleeping rough, having a front door and a bed to sleep in and a safe place to rest is life changing. This house will offer not just shelter but stability and the chance to begin again.

The annual rough sleepers count in Hastings and St Leonards last year saw over 300 people sleeping rough locally. We need your help to get their new home up and running to make sure nobody needs to sleep rough on our streets today.

We are inviting the community to help and all who donate will see their name displayed on a brick either on the Help Make a House a Home online thank you wall or if your donation is over a certain amount, engraved on a brick displayed in the garden.

We are also reaching out to local and national businesses who can sponsor with financial donations little and large. Financial donations won’t just make a huge difference to the project but can form a significant part of your companies Corporate Social Responsibility and are tax deductible.
