Happy Birthday Seaview

It was 30 years ago Seaview opened its doors to provide services for those in need. According to the first promotional leaflet, the Day Centre would be "a place where people who may feel lonely or isolated can meet other people; have tea or coffee, and join in an activity". It was to be "a friendly environment, where social and creative activities would be encouraged". While Seaview has grown significantly over the years and a responsive Housing and Health Care service has developed, our mission has remained the same. Over the forthcoming months, we will be commemorating our milestone year. We have a number of exciting events planned: creative projects for our service users, production of a new promotional film and a mass sleep out event to be held in the Autumn on the Stade Open Space. In line with our 30th celebrations, we are also re-branding by revamping our logo and dropping 'Project' from our trading name, we will refer to the charity as simply 'Seaview'. To keep up to date with our news, watch this space and follow us on Facebook ‘The Seaview Project’.
